Introduce
Sichongxi Hot Springs is located by the Sichongxi stream in Wenquan Village, Checheng Township. It is approximately 5 kilometers east of Checheng and is a well-known hot spring area in southern Taiwan. During the Japanese colonial period, it was one of the four famous hot springs in Taiwan, along with Beitou, Yangmingshan, and Guanziling. Sichongxi Hot Springs is a colorless and odorless alkaline carbonated spring. The water temperature remains between 50℃ and 60℃ throughout the year. It can be consumed and also has the effect of relieving ailments.
The park is equipped with foot soaking pools, a Japanese shrine, and cute onion dolls that are perfect for taking pictures. Along the circular trail, there is the Butterfly Valley Trail, where butterflies flutter along the way, making it a beautiful sight. The "red yolk salted duck eggs " here have full and red yolks due to ample exercise and nutrition. The salted eggs and century eggs made with hot spring water are especially delicious and are local specialties.

1. THSR:
Take THSR to Zuoying Station, take Kenting Express or Kenting 88 train from Exit 3 to Checheng Station, and transfer to Kenting Streetcar Yellow Line (Sichongxi Special Shuttle) to Sichongxi Station.
2. TRA:
Take the TRA to Kaohsiung Railway Station, get off at the station, take the Kenting Express to Checheng Station, transfer to the Kenting Streetcar Yellow Line (Sichongxi Special Bus) and get off at Sichongxi Station.
3. Airplane
Take a flight to Kaohsiung International Airport and then take the Kenting Express from the passenger exit to "Checheng Station". Transfer to the Kenting streetcar Yellow Line (Sichongxi Special Car) and get off at Sichongxi Station.
● Self-Driving:
Take the Provincial Hwy 26 south to Checheng and transfer to County Hwy 199 towards Mudan direction. You will arrive at Sichongxi Hot Springs.
