Checheng Fu An Temple

Introduce

This temple is the largest temple in Taiwan, even in Southeast Asia, it is the center of faith in Hengchun. The main statue of the God of the Earth in the main hall is covered with shining gold plaques, and it is said that it was awarded a crown and a dragon robe by Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, which makes it even more impressive and powerful, and it can be said that it is the most powerful God of the Earth in Taiwan.
One of the most striking features is the octagonal gold furnace with three canopies and four floors, which is known as the "God's money counting machine" and attracts local people or tourists who come to worship it to seek peace and fortune.

1. THSR:

Take THSR to alight at Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung. From Exit 2, proceed to the Kenting Express counter to purchase tickets for Taiwan Tourist Shuttle | 9189 Kenting Express. And get off the bus at Checheng Farmers' Association. 5 minutes walk to reach the destination.

2.TRA:

(1) Take the TRA train (Westbound Line) to Kaohsiung Railway Station. Transfer at the front of the train station to take a bus (Kuo-Kuang Bus, Kaohsiung Bus, Pingtung Bus, Zhongnan Bus). Get off at Checheng Station and follow the signs to reach Checheng Fu An Temple.

(2) Take the TRA train (South Link Line) to Fangliao Station, then transfer to a bus (Kuo-Kuang Bus, Kaohsiung Bus, Pingtung Bus, Zhongnan Bus). Get off at Checheng Station and follow the signs to reach Checheng Fu An Temple.

● Self-Driving:

Take Provincial Highway 26 south to Checheng and follow the signs to get there.
