Cacevakan Stone Slab Houses Historical Site

Introduce

"Cacevakan" means cutting stone slabs along the joints of stones. It belongs to the old tribe of the Southern Paiwan group (paljilauljilau), and the colony is located on the gentle slopes along the hillside of Jushe Creek, with one headman's house and 22 general houses in the colony.
At the entrance of the trail, you will see a statue of a Paiwan warrior, symbolizing the silent protection of the local people.
As you enter the site, you should walk with reverence and gratitude, and do not disturb the ancestral spirits by making a lot of noise.
