Chuhuo Natural Fire

Introduce

In the "Hengchun County Records of Mountains and Rivers" during the Qing Dynasty, "Chuhuo is five miles east of the city, to the left of Mt. Santai" explaining that the Chuhuo area is located outside the east gate of Hengchun Township, and that the area was originally dug into a layer of mudstone by the ancient people when digging a well, and that because of the flames that traveled around the area, they accidentally found that natural gas was bubbling up, and that it burned like a spit of fire after being set on fire, and so it is known as "Chuhuo".
However, the early fire area is not the current site, the current site is left by the oil company to explore oil and gas, drilling wells, because of the large pore space out of the fire is strong, although there is a difference between spring and summer fires, but year-round, especially at night the flames jumping as if dancing, a spectacular sight.
The total area of Chuhuo Park is 2.9 hectares. In addition to the ecological dense forest area, the Chuhuo Geological Plaza and the circular pool form a special landscape of water and fire symbiosis, allowing you to observe this special landscape from a close distance.
